The Sweet Smell of Success

There is a pungent odour coming from my backyard shed today...the pungent odour of 35 plus garlic heads recently pulled from my garden.  The sweet smell of success!

I decided to pull the plants before the rain came.  My research told me they would be ready approximately 20 days after cutting the scapes, when about 40% of the leaves start to yellow.  I quick peek underground seemed to confirm that they were ready to go.

I must say, in comparison to last year, this year the garlic cloves are huge!  As expected, the plants I grew in the pot and container were considerably smaller, but still worth it.  My only thought is do I have enough?
